I’m interested in the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on deep learning. My work and learning currently span areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, and reinforcement learning. I enjoy going beyond using pre-built models and exploring the architectures, mathematics, training processes, and engineering decisions that make these systems work. I primarily work with Python and PyTorch, while also building software around the models and experiments I work on.
